TAM-25
The project involved the formulation of a master development plan and feasibility study for an existing Philippine Navy base in Ternate, Cavite with a total land area of approximately 809 has.
Fleet-Marine Training Base (FMTB) Ternate was envisioned to be the headquarters of Philippine Marines and its major training base. It was designated to house almost all facilities affected by the eventual conversion of Marine Base Rudyardo Brown in Fort Bonifacio for higher level land uses.
TAM Planners performed baseline investigation of the existing Philippine Marine base in Ternate, Cavite. Data collection, consolidation and analyses provided baseline data for the Situational Analysis that formed the basis for the identification of vision, formulation of goals, objectives, targets, strategies (GOTS) and programs, projects and activities (PPAs).
Space programming provided the basis for identifying land supply and land demand. GIS as an analytical and mapping tool was utilized to develop existing land use maps, conceptual land use maps and the final master development plan. Prepared sectoral plans (e.g, transportation plan, financial plan, infrastructure plan) to support the overall development strategy/ option recommended by the planning team. 3D sketches and video presentation were developed to augment the MDP.
